My Reflection

I had a fantabulous time both making candy and exploring inside the Science Center. We first went to go to the Kitchen Lab to make candy. It turned out that we were supposed to make lollipops and Cotton Candy. I enjoyed making the Cotton Candy more, because I was able to swirl and swirl around the black plate to get big amounts of cotton! Also, because at the end, my lollipop turned out to be chewy and I had a really loose tooth. One bite, and my tooth was out! After this candy making experiment, I learned how to make a homemade lollipop using just sugar and water, and the names of some Interfering Agents too. This helped me know how I could make my candy clear, and opaque.

Then, while exploring the Science Center, I saw a small corner which said something like "Barber's Corner". I went inside, and sat down on a chair. I put the headphones on, and a Barber started talking and asking me questions! It was so funny because I was answering his questions without even knowing that it was a fake recording!(I had my eyes closed.) Out of all the things I observed, the "Barber's Corner" was my favorite.

This Field Trip turned out to be a busy, but scientific trip. I enjoyed, at the same time learned a lot!

  1. I like the word "fantabulous!" You could maybe include some of the names of the interfering agents that you learned, but otherwise great job, Vainavi! :D

  2. I think you did a great job describing what you did and like Alyssa said, maybe you could add some of the names of the interfering agents that you learned. "Fantabulous" job!
