I recommend the BFG because I feel it has a ton of imagination, magic adventure, humor and much more. I can totally picture the story while reading and I am able to stop and think about what is going on.
When the reader first reads the beginning, the author (Roald Dahl) just introduces the characters and where they live. But as the story goes deeper, Roald Dahl twists the story and makes it exciting and interesting in such a way that the reader can't get its eyes of the book. The BFG shows how friendship helps a girl and a friendly giant save the world from the ghastly giants. Queen Elizabeth plays a part in the BFG too!!
The BFG was my first Roald Dahl book and after reading that, I felt like reading more and more of his books and (believe it or not) soon, I became a Roald Dahl book lover. So be aware that his books are SUPER addictive:)
